Photography by Honeyuck

When Honeyuck's Hana Haley contacted me about using HCH pieces in a shoot by Golden Gate Park's windmill, I knew the end product would be a dreamy confection. Hana's incredible film photos are sweet, sexy and a bit sleepy... and I'm absolutely enthralled. I'm posting my favorites here, but there are many more - some on my Facebook page, and even more on Hana's website.

HCH Loves Bike Pretty!

Social media is an incredible thing. If you follow me on Twitter, you know I'm pretty active there. I love talking with lingerie connoisseurs along with brands and bloggers I admire. One of my favorite lingerie tweeters is the amazing Lingerie Lesbian, who has featured HCH a few times on her blog. Another of her admirers is Melissa from Bike Pretty, who contacted me through Twitter after seeing my lingerie featured on The Lingerie Lesbian's blog. We realized we not only live in the same city, but also in the same neighborhood, so we just had to meet up. And what an awesome meeting it was! Melissa snagged some HCH pieces to feature on her blog, and here are some of my favorite images from her posts!

Pairing the Lucky Star Deco Cami with leggings...

...and a blazer she made herself. This girl rocks!

Positively rocking the Hortense Bloomers, a fashion-forward nod to the
bloomer-wearing bike-riding ladies of the Edwardian era!

Nothing is more satisfying than a really great collaboration, and Melissa's posts on Bike Pretty were such a treat. Check out her blog if you haven't already - she truly makes biking, well, pretty!

Honey Cooler Handmade at Pixie Hall on Friday April 19th

This year, our San Francisco spring has announced itself with lots of rain. This past week has been particularly gloomy, but that doesn't mean SF's most fashionable aren't wearing their prettiest colors with pride (albeit with galoshes).

Join Elizabeth Street Cosmetics and yours truly on Friday April 19th from 4-7pm for a trunk show that will push the clouds away and get your springiest sensibilities revving. ESC's Kelly has some gorgeous new lip colors she'll be debuting (have you seen Franklin yet?), and I'll have a fresh stash of everything silky and lacy. Tons of Knickers and some new Moonshine Chemises to show, all perfect for putting a spring - so to speak - in your step.

Join us on the 19th and make sure to let us know you'll be there with bells on on Facebook!

A Sneak Peek...

When it rains, it pours. Up until about 2 weeks ago, things were pretty quiet here in HCH land. The post-Valentine's Day/pre-tax season lull had officially set in, and while I kept plugging away and sewing my heart out, it seemed that the retail world was feeling, well, flat.

Then a perfect collaboration came to fruition. I don't want to give too much away, but suffice it to say that myself, Antonette Streeter Photography, Zelma Rose, Elizabeth Street Cosmetics, Paul's Hat Works, fashion stylist Dominique Guillen and hair and makeup artist Rebecca Taff pulled an incredible project together with the incredible generosity of Trick Dog, the Mission District's most popular (and let's be honest: excellent) new bar.

I can't wait to share final photos of this amazing project. Suffice it to say, they will appeal to the flapper (or dapper) in you, and are such a timely collaboration considering the impending release of The Great Gatsby. Stay tuned!
